The last few years though have challenged many models and companies are having to change. The consumer has changed and is asking new questions of brands and service offers. Each year, EP hosts over 50 events which bring together industry leaders to share knowledge. Every day, EP attracts market information and feedback which builds a depth of knowledge which can be of value to companies.

Over the year, EP has long been seen to launch and develop industry discussions which have been seen, rightly or wrongly, to be ahead of the curve. It is what we see as part of our role; to discuss and debate what is right for the industry and for our clients.

· In 2017, we launched “Fuelling Productivity” which argued for the importance of food service in how it could impact positively on productivity and well being in daily life; a fact now well accepted post Covid

· In 2017, we also launched a whole piece around lessons which can be learnt from the world of sport in terms of communication, engagement and learning. It was an argument to highlight how there was a need for change in how one communicated and engaged internally; a case which again has been illustrated through the pandemic and has led to change.

· EP has long advocated the development of talent at a time when so much good talent has been lost.

· In 2016, EP opened a piece about the convergence of art, music and hospitality along with well-being; something which is happening today.

We certainly have long offered alternative perspectives, challenging leaders to consider other solutions and it is all based off research and facts, rather than just creative thinking. One of the challenge, for many, is that often the thinking becomes very narrow in perspective and a broader vision is lost.
