Uncut and in Conversation with – Julian Fris, Founder, Neller Davies

How will consultancy change post pandemic? Will the Vested model become ever more central to processes?

We enjoyed interviewing Julian Fris this morning about his career, his views on the market but also about how he believes that more and more larger companies, and their C-suites, are changing the way that they look at working with suppliers?

There has long been tensions in the way that many companies try to overly control their suppliers with greater calls for genuine partnerships to emerge. All sides have been working towards this in recent years and the view is that the pandemic has been a catalyst which is forcing greater collaboration for models to evolve.

Julian also talks of his background from playing in a band to overseeing the BBC’s Food service strategies back in the early 00s to becoming a consultant.

It is a very interesting story and perspective; one which does probably reflect some of the subtle changes which will be seen as we re-emerge.
