Since we first announced that we would be relaunching the entrepreneurs club this year, we have been approached by close to 25 new entrepreneurs seeking support, 30 senior industry players wanting to help young businesses and 6 major players wanting to hear new ideas on innovation.
As is always the case, entrepreneurism is clearly still alive and kicking. Some of the concepts which are being presented are innovative, thoughtful, clever; others quirky and different. Some lead the way in presenting new sustainable solutions; others show the advancement of how tech is impacting on daily life. They highlight just how much the world is changing and evolving and we would urge all companies to naturally take the time to get involved as at worst, it highlights new ideas and may just spark a new idea.
Our aim is to three fold:
- To promote innovation and entrepreneurs
- To be a bridge between the entrepreneur and the corporate
- To build a lively community which brings innovators, advisors, mentors and corporates together.
The argument has long been that the sector can be judged by the strength and depth of its entrepreneurs pushing and challenging the more established. Well the signs are good and encouraging.
We will be announcing the first event in the next week or so, so we hope that you will be able to join us.
We will also be writing regular pieces to showcase the entrepreneurs and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments.
