HIT Scotland launch new App for home learning

Learn @ Home with HIT Scotland

In these different and challenging times when we would normally be getting the industry together at our events around the country, plus delivering scholarships locally, nationally and internationally, we all find ourselves in a unique situation which is having a major impact on our industry globally.

We recognise and applaud all the efforts that the industry and its support organisations are doing to work together.

As a charity for the hospitality industry in Scotland, HIT’s aim is to encourage the development of anyone working or studying in the sector, so we have updated our App (used at our last 2 Talent Conferences) with a collection of self-development links and activities that will help you continue to be engaged with the industry and update your skills and knowledge whilst we all have a bit more time to consider our own development.

It has pulled information from many different sources and we are very grateful to all the contributors who have allowed us to share the information freely.  We will build on the information over the coming weeks and we welcome your feedback at info@hitscotland.co.uk on topics that you’d like to see on the development front.

Keep well, safe and healthy at this time and we look forward to keeping you updated via the App.

How to get the app

This free app is designed to be viewed on your mobile phone.  Thank you to HIT sponsor Criton for providing this technology!  You can also view from your computer or tablet.

To download the app from your mobile phone

You will be directed to add the app to your homescreen.

Every time you re-open the app it will be refreshed, so you will see any new content.

If you already have the app from the Talent Conference, it should refresh when you open it, allowing you to see the new content.
