“I remember when I became an MP four years ago; I was driving home from the count. And I turned to my wife and said “Laura, did you ever imagine, in your wildest dreams, that one day I would actually be a Member of Parliament?” And she looked me in the eye and said: “Darling, in my wildest dreams, you don’t feature at all.”

Sajid Javid, newly appointed Home Secretary, said the above in 2014.

Events

This year EP has developed a series of walks to raise funds for special charities and to broaden thinking. Many businesses today are debating the fall in employee productivity, the increasing levels of mental health issues, the fall in trust towards leaders and the need for new leaders to be developed and nurtured.

Our argument is that broader minded people = better people = better beprofessionals = better teams, cultures and behaviours.

The first walk, in June 2018, follows the famous stretch of beautiful scenery in the Emilia Romagna area and is around a total of 120km in distance.

What is needed is a return to a more personalised approach to relationships with customers and employees and business to work with arguably a higher standard of trust and integrity.
Behaviour makes all the difference.

A New Occupation? The Internal Communicator

Recent reports on the workplace focus on the increased stress levels and poor work-life balance. A major bi-products of this is a wider than ever divide between leadership boards and their middle management and junior teams. One can explain the gap but the real issue that needs confronting is that many middle and junior teams will cite poor communication and engagement from their leadership…

How do we solve this?
