Drinks reception in The Penthouse at New Zealand House in the evening on the 26th October to network and discuss the issue of “Reinvention” that we have been writing about.
Everyone needs to reinvent themselves as they journey through their careers – and none more so than sports players who often feel lost once they retire from their chosen discipline. They are still much to offer and have a desire to contribute to companies, to support developing talent and to society/the community. Many today suffer with a loss of self-esteem and depression as they are unsure how to find new career paths.
However, it is not just sports players but CEOs, Chefs, MDs, and GMs. Life today is testing us all and we want to discuss how we can come together to help talent from all walks of life reinvent themselves and find new direction. We so often talk of the need for talent; it lies with us to help develop that talent.
We are delighted to be joined on the evening by a number of leading former sporting figures who will talk openly about their experiences and challenges. It will help bring into focus the challenge we all face and how we can work together to make sure we support “reinvention”.
