Guests Can Rent Luxury Hotel Rooms by the Minute Via Recharge App
Renting rooms by the hour is not a new idea. Just ask any member of the world’s oldest profession.
But by the minute? Well, that’s relatively new. And getting to use a luxury hotel room for just enough time to do what you need to do and get on with your business—that’s a treat that’s only just now available, thanks to a new app called Recharge.
The receipient of strategic investment from JetBlue’s tech incubator, JetBlue Technology Ventures,Recharge Labs Inc. officially launched in 2015 in San Francisco. It expands to New York on April 24 with 16 luxury properties that range from the hipster-friendly Arlo Hudson Square, located near the Financial District, to ritzy midtown five-stars such as the Quin and the Pierre.

This upside-down boat could be the coolest eco-friendly holiday destination yet
Whether that be one with beer-filled hot tubs, that’s super cheap, or excessively pink.
And now, the latest hotel to join the family is one built in an upside-down boat.
Located in the Dyfi Valley in Wales, the ‘boatel’ not only features stunning views of Snowdonia – a national park containing the biggest mountain in England and Wales Snowdon – but it’s also eco-friendly.
It has a composting toilet, solar panel fueled shower and was made of entirely recycled materials back in 2012.
