What is Wholesome Seduction?

Wholesome Seduction is a food blog that believes food is fuel and it should not only taste good, but do us good. Taking inspiration from abroad and with a little thought and planning, flavour needn’t be compromised.

Clare Garcia is Creative Director for Gather & Gather.

A hot, wholesomely seductive summer

Last month was all about the sun for Wholesome Seduction, just as August should be. Summer recipes were blogged and long furtive Andalucian weekend getaways shared: Tarifa is true, unadulterated Spain. With failsafe fiestas.

I urge you to try my latest obsession: fritters. This recipe’s wheat and dairy free, and packed with nutrients. Not only will your brunch guests thank you (sourdough is so 2012), your energy levels and waists will too.

Courgertte & prawn fritters

Fritters are an easy and healthy alternative to bread, and just as versatile. Your mix will keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days or you can freeze.

Basil pesto

I’m pretty confident this is the best pesto recipe I’ve eaten. Ever.
